Personal guidance

Every class is taught by Jay Shah, Sangeet Alankar, who trained first with his father, Shree Prakash Shah, and then with Shree Niraj Parikh of the Mewati Gharana.

A clear path

Our ten progression levels take you from your first swaras to advanced raga study, one step at a time.

Small groups or one-to-one

Group classes have at least four students, grouped by level. Private lessons are also available.

In person or online

Join us on Saturdays in Glen Waverley, or learn live online from wherever you are.

Ages 6 and up

Children and adults are welcome. It is never too late to begin.

Sangeet Alankar

Artistry Music was founded by Jay Shah, who has studied Hindustani classical vocal music since childhood. His teaching was shaped first by his father, Shree Prakash Shah, and refined under Shree Niraj Parikh of the Mewati Gharana.
